Who can get a refund, how the amount is calculated from unused credits, what processing fees may apply, and how cancellation works.

Request a refund

Email support@aiburningbridges.com from your account email. We review every request and reply by email within 3 business days. To stop future renewals, cancel your subscription in Billing settings.

This policy covers Burning Bridges AI (aiburningbridges.com) subscriptions and one-time credit packs. Browsing the pricing page does not create a purchase or a subscription.

1. How to request a refund

Contact support@aiburningbridges.com within 72 hours of the payment for a subscription purchase, a renewal, or a credit pack. Inside that window, the unused share of the credits you purchased can be refunded, after verification and subject to the abuse rules in section 7. We check the payment and its credit usage before confirming an amount. Buying by mistake or changing your mind does not automatically mean a full refund. After 72 hours, voluntary refunds are generally not offered; billing errors, unresolved service problems, and statutory rights are reviewed separately.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights, such as applicable withdrawal rights or remedies for services that are faulty or not delivered. Simply starting to use the service does not waive those rights.

2. How the refund amount is calculated

For an eligible purchase, the refund is based on what you actually paid after discounts, multiplied by the share of that order's purchased credits that are still unused, minus any payment processing fees allowed under section 4.

  • Annual plans use the full annual credit allocation granted at purchase; monthly plans use the allocation for that billing period. Later plan changes do not alter the basis for the original order.
  • Only purchased credits spent on successfully delivered tasks count as used. Tasks still in progress must finish before the final amount is set.
  • If every purchased credit has been used, the refundable amount is zero. We do not deduct extra for days already elapsed, and we send an itemized breakdown before processing.
  • Unused or expired credits do not extend the 72-hour request window.
  • Refunds are made in the original payment currency, rounded to its smallest unit. Earlier refunds and fees already deducted are never counted twice, and the total refunded can never exceed the original payment. Separately charged taxes follow applicable law; your bank's exchange rate or fees may change the amount you receive locally.

3. Free, bonus, and compensation credits

Signup, daily check-in, promotional, and compensation credits granted separately have no cash value and are not refundable. Spending them does not reduce the refund on purchased credits. Credits that are explicitly part of a paid offer count as purchased credits. Failed or undelivered tasks are not treated as usage — contact us if a deduction for one has not been reversed.

4. Processing fees

For a voluntary refund, we may deduct only the actual payment-processing cost of that transaction that the payment provider does not return to us, where the law allows and where this was disclosed before purchase. You see the real amount and the calculation before you confirm. There is no administration fee and no arbitrary percentage. Fees already recovered are not deducted again, and fees we cannot verify are not charged.

We cover these costs ourselves for refunds caused by our billing errors or service faults, and whenever the law requires it. A legally required full refund is never reduced by fees. Earlier purchases keep the terms in force when they were made; this version does not add a fee or a stricter rule retroactively.

Cap: across all refunds for the same purchase, processing-fee deductions never exceed 6% of the amount actually paid, excluding separately charged taxes. We deduct whichever is lower — the verified non-returned cost or the cap. 6% is a ceiling, not a fixed fee.

5. Cancellation and what a refund changes

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Annual plans are charged for the whole year upfront; the monthly figure shown on the pricing page is an average, not a monthly charge. Cancel renewal in Settings → Billing. Cancelling only stops the next renewal — access normally continues until the current period ends, and cancelling does not by itself refund the payment.

When we process a refund that closes a subscription purchase, we cancel that subscription and remove its remaining purchased credits and paid access. For a credit-pack refund, we remove the remaining credits from that pack. Other purchases are not affected. Separately granted compensation credits keep their original terms. Deleting your account does not automatically trigger a refund.

6. What to send and how long it takes

Send your account email, the payment date and amount, and the invoice or transaction ID if you have it. You are welcome to tell us what went wrong — but never send full card details. Please pause generating while we review, because further usage changes the calculation.

We aim to reply within 3 business days with a decision and an itemized calculation. For a voluntary partial refund we ask you to confirm before we process it. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days after we issue them, depending on your bank. Accepting bonus credits never requires you to give up a refund right.

7. Repeated requests and payment disputes

Repeated buy-and-refund cycles, using multiple accounts to collect refunds or bonuses again, or false claims may lead us, after review, to decline discretionary refunds or limit future purchases. A previous legitimate refund alone is not evidence of abuse, and mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

If you have opened a dispute with your bank, let us know so we can coordinate and avoid paying twice. You do not have to give up the right to dispute an unauthorized charge in order to contact support.

8. Changes to this policy

This version applies to purchases made after it is first published. Earlier purchases are reviewed under the terms that applied when they were made, together with any more favorable commitment we gave you. Mandatory law always takes priority.
